Parisian dwelling Dimitri carved a name for himself as a radio DJ in the 80’s, moving to more widespread acclaim and recognition in the mid nineties with his first burst of music productions and remixes. His first full album “Sacrebleu” was released to massive critical acclaim in 1998 and launched the Turkish born DJ onto the worldwide DJing circuit, where he has astounded listeners with his sublime, soulful, funky, peak time party selections. In recent years Dimitri has produced highly memorable remixes for the likes of Bjork, The Cardigans, Stetsasonic, James Brown, The Brand New Heavies and New Order.

He is a fanatical record collector with disco being high on his agenda. His recent “A Night At The Playboy Mansion” and current “After The Playboy Mansion” compilations are a stunning triumph. Blending contemporary house and garage with his own re edits of disco classics by the likes of Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes and Tata Vega, he reveals himself as a refined selector and mixer with one eye on the past and another on the future.
